Eligibility for this loan typically requires that your household income is below $210,000, your property is valued under $3 million, and you either already have solar installed or plan to install it alongside the battery.
You will need to apply through the official Solar Victoria portal, providing evidence such as income details, property valuation, and a quote from an accredited installer. Current Landscape (No Direct Rebates)
As of now, there are no dedicated federal or Victorian rebates specifically for battery storage systems alone. While certain pilot programs may exist in specific areas, there is no widespread incentive that directly lowers the purchase price of a standalone battery.
